Gate Cambridge Scholarship Programme 2026/2027 to study in the UK
Gates
Cambridge Scholarship Programme provides around 80 scholarships to exceptional
students from outside the UK who want to pursue a postgraduate degree at Cambridge in any subject offered by the
University.
Most
of the awards go to PhD students, and the selection is split into two rounds:
about 25 scholarships for US applicants and about 55 for other international
applicants. The scholarship however, covers the full cost of studying at
Cambridge University.
Who Can Apply?
● You are from any country outside the UK
● You want to apply for one of these courses:
i. PhD (full-time or part-time)
ii. MLitt
(full-time)
iii. One-year postgraduate course (full-time, with a few exceptions)

● Clear reasons for your chosen course
● Commitment to helping others
● Leadership potential
How to Apply:
Submit
your admission and funding application through the University of Cambridge
Graduate Application Portal.
Make
sure you complete both the course application and the Gates Cambridge funding
section.
Deadlines:
Applicants
who are not in the US: 2 December 2025 or 7 January 2026 (depends on your
course)
All
applications must be submitted by 23:59 GMT.
University of Twente Scholarship (UTS) 2026 for Master’s Studies
The University of Twente Scholarship (UTS) is now open for applications for the 2026 academic year. This scholarship is designed for excellent international students from non-EU/EEA countries who wish to pursue a Master’s degree (MSc) at the University of Twente (UT) in the Netherlands.
The
University of Twente offers a wide range of Master’s programmes across fields
such as technical medicine, robotics, data science, geo-information,
engineering, and more. Whether you are a fresh graduate or a professional
looking to advance your career, UT provides programmes that support both
academic and personal growth.
Scholarship Value:
The
UTS scholarship award ranges from €3,000 to €22,000 for one academic year.
The amount is designed to help students cover part of the living and study expenses at the University of Twente.
Note: It does not include tuition fees.
Eligibility Requirements:
To
qualify for the University of Twente Scholarship:
● You must apply separately for both the UT
Master’s programme and the UTS scholarship.
● You must have received a provisional or
full admission letter into one of the eligible UT Master’s programmes starting
September 2026 (academic year 2026/2027).
● It
may take up to 8 weeks after your application to receive the admission results.
● You must have a valid student number from
the University of Twente.
● You did NOT graduate from a UT Bachelor’s
or UT Master’s programme.
● You meet the visa requirements for studying
in the Netherlands (if needed).
● You meet the English language requirements:
IELTS: overall 6.5, and speaking 6.0 OR
TOEFL iBT: overall 90, and speaking 20
● You are not eligible for a Dutch student
loan.
● You must be an excellent student, usually
among the top 5–10% of your class.
Who cannot apply?
● Dutch students
● EU/EEA students
● Current UT students
● Students applying for ITC (Geo-Information
Science and Earth Observation)
● Students applying for a pre-Master’s
programme
Application Process
- Apply for a Master’s programme at UT
first.
- Wait for your conditional admission
letter.
- With your admission letter and student
number, you can then apply for the UTS scholarship.

When to Apply?
Scholarship
application closes in: February 1, 2026, at 16:00 CET(Master’s programmes
commence in September 2026
Swedish Institute Pioneering Women in STEM Scholarship 2026
The Sweden Institute Pioneering Women in STEM Scholarship supports women who want to lead innovation, tackle complex challenges, and contribute to more inclusive and sustainable societies.
If
you are ready to use your STEM expertise to drive society change. SI awards
scholarships for master's studies in Sweden to women in Africa and Asia. It is
a fully funded master’s scholarship for women in STEM from selected African and
Asian countries.
Scholarship Value:
● Full tuition fee coverage (paid directly to
your university).
● SEK 12,000 monthly for living expenses.
● SEK 15,000 travel grant (one-time).
● Access to the SI Global Professionals
Network and the Sweden Alumni Network.
Who Can Apply?
- Women from one of the 10 eligible
African/Asian countries.
- Must be applying for a STEM-related
master's program.
- Must be required to pay tuition fees.
- Must have work and leadership
experience.
- Must not have held an SI scholarship
or Swedish degree.
